Vintage 1940's Jeanne Loray Powder Box Unused Face Beauty Powder Box Loray Cosmetic Company London Sydney Make-Up Vanity War Time WWII

Beautifully decorated powder box in red and white. I found an advertisement for this powder box in the advertiser (adelaide sa), dated 15th december 1944 so perhaps this was decorated for chrstmas. Jeanne loray, the perfect beauty powder.

Box height just under 1 1/2. The face powder box is in unused condition, the powder remains sealed.

The box itself has a little wear to the sides which can be seen in the photos, however the lid decoration is largely intact. However, a rare item, i have been unable to find out anything about the company with the exception of a newspaper advertisment. This item is made of cardboard and powder.
