Awesome find 1940's art deco powder box - canister. This has discolorations - see pics.

Metal with enamel designs on the lid - black felted underside. Gold metal emblem design on lid.

The discolored portion gives this piece antiqued look. No markings, not sure if this has any real gold. The coloring on lid is a creamy yellow. This item is made of metal, enamel and felt.
