A vintage heavy cut glass powder jar with a turned ebony lid dating from the late 19th or early 20th century. The glass is approximately 5 mm thick and very attractively cut with diamond and hobnail patterns. The jar measures 11.5 cm high with the lid and 7.2 cm in diameter across the top. It is in good condition for its age with some minor indents on the lid and wear on the base. A very attractive dressing table jar.
