Vintage Edwardian Silver-Plate and Glass Talcum Powder Shaker Vanity Jar, Vintage Vanity

Vintage edwardian style silver-plate and glass talcum powder shaker/vanity jar. This beautiful shaker jar was likely made between 1900-1940.

It features a ribbed glass jar and a silver-plated top with a floral design reminiscent of the edwardian era. The embossed top screws on.

There is a perforated brass inner lid which can be removed that functions as a powder shaker. It measures 4.75" tall and 1.75" in diameter. It is in very good vintage condition considering its age. There are no chips or cracks on the glass. The silver-plated top shows a bumpy texture around the entire outside edge which may be from a hand hammering technique but it can also be damage and wear from age. Regardless, it adds to it's vintage charm. There is a bit of tarnish but overall it has been polished up to be shiny and clean with little if any scratches noted.
