Vintage French Powder Box Caron Powder 1940's Powder Box Vanity Storage Poudre Mademoiselle Peau Fraiche

Vintage french face powder box by caron, unopened. The lid is decorated in cream and gold with pyramid shapes around the perimeter.

Inside the lid the product lists available shades. The base provides a product description. 1940's, various advertisements in magazines dating to 1945, 1949 and 1951. Diameter 10.5cms or 4 1/4.

Height 4cms or 1 1/2. The powder box is in unopened condition, there is some light wear associated with storage.

The lid has some slight dicolouration to background, a couple of nibbles to the edge near the letter'c'. The pyramid shapes are largely intact, there 1 or 2 that have squashed slightly where the lid has been lifted on and off over the years. This item is made of cardboard, plastic and powder.
