Vintage french vanity powder jar box / hand painted limoges & brass ormolu dresser box / trinket jewelry box / boudoir chic. Fabulous pink hand painted porcelain and brass ormolu vanity / boudoir powder jar or trinket container with a decorative lid. Beautifully hand-painted pink roses with blue highlights, blue and green leaves on white surrounded by gold petals and trim grace the front of the base of the box. The knob at the top of the lid has similar hand-painted roses surrounded by a zig-zag gold border. The interior of the base is white with a small bunch of gold leaves hand-painted in the middle. The middle of the base of the powder / trinket jar has a very detailed brass ormolu flower and scroll one inch border.

The base has "peint main". Hand painted written in gold. ++ cottage chic decor ++.

Powder jar 3 5/8" diameter x 3.5" tall including the knob at the top. As with all vintage items they are full of fabulous patina, love and age, this is what all of us that adore vintage love and expect.
