Vintage Handmade Ceramic Powder Jewelry Box Raised Flower and Butterfly Design

This vintage 1950's handmade ceramic powder or jewelry box features a beautiful handpainted raised flower and butterfly design on the lid. Its floral design adds a touch of elegance and charm to any space. Diameter 5 in / 13 cm. Height 2.5 in / 6 cm. Item has overall crazing in the glaze.

There is also some discoloration on the inside and some chips or nicks under the glaze. There is a rough spot on the bottom of the dish which looks like a dark speck that was fused to the piece during firing, as well as another one on the inside rim of the lid. Please see all photos for condition.
