It would make an even nicer gift with a piece of jewelry in it. Irving rice porcelain powder box with gold color brass hinged collar. Pink and blue hp butterflies with gold are in nice condition. Gold flowers have very slight gilt loss.
Gold edging has some wear, very good. No chips or cracks, shuts well, has a minuscule glaze pit.
Old glue shows under the lid. Some wear to gold inside box.Original paper label post world war ii, made in japan. Bottom edge not glazed slightly soiled.
