Vintage Musical Powder Box with Enamel Lid and Odeon Feet 1950's Space Age Design Unused Pristine Condition in Original Box

A fabulous vintage white, ivory, black and gold tone musical powder box/bowl dating from the 1950's. Typical of the space age items of this era with a black base on three ivory odeon shaped feet. The top is white pearlised lucite with an ivory and gold enamel lid with gold metal knob.

Open the box to reveal an unused powder bowl with sieve - powder puffs are available seperately. Inside the lid is a pristine mirror - please note the round spot in the photos is a spotlight in my ceiling and not a flaw in the mirror. Wind the key on the bottom of the box and when you lift the lid it plays a tune which at the moment i have not managed to identify.

There is one small screw missing from the base but this does not affect use in any way and could be replaced if desired. The bowl measures approx 5.25" diameter x 4" (at widest points). In excellent unused vintage condition and comes in it's original box - please see all photos.

This item is made of glass, gold tone metal, enamel and plastic.
