Vintage peach silk oval vanity box adorned with lace with lace top and silk flower accent with ribbon lace inside top, cottage chic keepsake. This is an enchanting vintage late art deco era vanity or dresser box. The silky fabric covered box is oval in shape is a nice pastel shade of peach adorned with lace. The cottage chic style box has wonderful appeal.

A beautiful and whimsical display for a dresser, boudoir, vanity table it will beautifully hold a collectible french powder puff or small jeweled trinkets. I love these older vanity boxes. The darling vanity box is created with cardboard covered with peach silky fabric. The top and sides are adorned with lovely ivory lace.

The lace adornments on top has two different types of lace with ribbon loop handle and ribbon rose. There is a silk darker peach flower with yellow paper stamens and green leaves. Inside the lid top is beige silky fabric and additional beige lace around the edge. In the center is a oval lace medallion edged with dainty ribbonwork adornment and the sweetest little pink rosette flowers. There is a white hankie with pink and white tatted lace edge stored inside the box.

The early eras loved handcrafting for pastimes. This seems to be a darling handmade box with french country chic look. Condition: very good for age with no flaws noted. Measurements: 5-1/4" across box by 2-1/2" height by 3-3/4 width. This boudoir silk lace box will make a special feminine gift.
