Vintage Powder Jar or Dresser Jar, c1920s

This is a beautiful vintage powder jar, c1920s. It is a brass holder with gorgeous filigree sides with rose swags and lots of great detail. The heavy brass lid is decorated with beautiful hand painted roses on white enamel in the center piece with a nice filigree border. The background is a pretty yellow textured metal or enamel that is covered with a protective plastic.

Inside is a glass jar. It is in great vintage condition, with a lovely, aged patina the glass is good. No chips or cracks or loss to the enamel.

The brass is good but does have some age discoloration and loss of color. Overall, a very nice piece from this era that will add beauty to any boudoir. The size is 4 3/4" in diameter and 2" high.
