Vintage swans down powder puff with pale pink ribbon and celluloid ring handle, art deco, vanity boudoir decor, gift for her, 1920s 1930s. Here we have a sweet fluffy powder puff that could not be softer or more dreamy it is made up of pure white down feathers. Decorated with pale pink ribbon and what i believe is a celluloid ring handle. Looks to be in perfect condition - never used.

The ribbon is clean with no signs of splitting or fraying. The feathers are also in great condition with only very minor shedding. It comes with a blue velvet box that is shaped like a little shield. No idea if they were an original pair or married up at some point in the past 100 years.

The box is clean, but the velvet does show some light wear. It measures about 4" long by 3 1/2" wide and is about 1 1/2 deep. The inside is white cardboard and the bottom is finished with black paper. I love the way the power puff fits right in the box. The blue velvet really sets off the pale pink ribbon.

Puff measures about 3 1/5 wide. This would make a great addition to any vintage vanity collection and would look gorgeous in your boudoir makes a great gift for a make-up or vintage loving human.
