Really hard to get good pictures. Suffice to say that this is much prettier in person. Some have called this the "ballerina" powder jar. With a striking art deco design, the finial is comprised of a flapper girl complete with a bobbed haircut.
Her delicate outstretched arms appear to be holding down her billowing skirt. The dress displays a ruffle effect over the flush lid and an inner rim holds the cover firmly in place.
She is wearing a low-cut gown with a double strand of beads around her neck. Identified as "wendy" in whitmyer's book on bedroom and bathroom glass. 4 3/4 tall with lid on. One foot has a chip (can easily be turned to the back). A couple of small nicks, especially on the inner rim of the top. Base has a couple of air bubbles. Please look over pictures carefully and feel free to ask questions. I pack all items very carefully and double-box if merited.
