Vintage Wendy Pink Satin Glass Powder Jar

Really hard to get good pictures. Suffice to say that this is much prettier in person. Some have called this the "ballerina" powder jar. With a striking art deco design, the finial is comprised of a flapper girl complete with a bobbed haircut.

Her delicate outstretched arms appear to be holding down her billowing skirt. The dress displays a ruffle effect over the flush lid and an inner rim holds the cover firmly in place.

She is wearing a low-cut gown with a double strand of beads around her neck. Identified as "wendy" in whitmyer's book on bedroom and bathroom glass. 4 3/4 tall with lid on. One foot has a chip (can easily be turned to the back). A couple of small nicks, especially on the inner rim of the top. Base has a couple of air bubbles.
