VTG 1930s L.E. Smith SCOTTIE DOGS Deco Powder Jar
Original 1937 glass powder jar made by l. Smith company, known as "my pets".
Lid design has a center scottie on hind legs "begging", flanked by two seated pals. Ornate star and fan patterning in the base and edges of lid. 5 1/4" high to the top of the center dog, 4 1/2" wide.
In very good overall condition for its 87 years, minor and atypical roughness on the inside rim, tiny nicks to some ear points which is also common, considering this was a utilitarian piece. Great for the dog lover in your love, (also works for westies). This item is made of glass.
