Tinted Glass Powder Bowl with Petit Point Embroidered Lid, Dressing Table Vanities, Trinket Bowl

This lovely tinted glass bowl has a gold coloured ormolu-style lid with a pretty petit point embroidered panel protected by celluloid or other early plastic. It could be used on a dressing table as a trinket bowl for example, but would probably have originally contained scented powder and a puff. The powder bowl lid is in excellent condition with no marks or stains to the embroidery or the plastic covering. What looks like water stains in the photographs is actually my shadow, and i have tried to show in other photographs that there are no stains the glass bowl is in very good condition with only one tiny "fleabite" on the inner rim (penultimate photograph) which cannot be readily seen but is taken into account in the price.

Dimensions: 2.5" (6.4cm) high to top of lid, 4" (10.2cm) lid dia, 4.75 (12.1cm) wide. This item is made of tinted glass and embroidered panel, gold tone ormolu style lid, plastic.
